A fun and unique rest stop idea for the whole family, this larger than life outline can be seen from Highway 12 just west of the town of Dayton. The Jolly Green Giant is possibly the largest piece of folk art in the U.S. The town of Dayton, WA was once the center of asparagus for the Jolly Green Giant label, until its move to Peru. In the 1970’s this mural was ‘seeded’ and painted, with patio blocks added later to define it in all seasons.
